Privacy and personal data policy

Last updated: November 3, 2026

At daweb we look after the data you trust us with. This policy explains what data we collect on this site, what we use it for and how you can exercise your rights, under Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013 (compiled in Decree 1074 of 2015).

1. Data controller

Castle Brothers S.A.S., which operates the daweb brand, tax ID (NIT) 901.388.982-1, domiciled in Barranquilla, Atlántico, Colombia. Mailing address: Calle 78 # 53-90, local 16, Barranquilla. Email: hello@daweb.co. WhatsApp: +57 312 204 1465.

2. Data we collect

  • Contact details you give us: name, email, WhatsApp, company and website address.
  • What you tell us in the forms: quote tool answers, service of interest, investment range and your message.
  • The audit result for the website you enter.
  • How you reached the site: campaign tags (UTM), Google or Meta click identifiers, landing page and referring site, stored in a first-party cookie.
  • Technical data such as your IP address, used only for security and to limit abuse.

We do not collect sensitive data or data from minors. This site is aimed at businesses and professionals.

3. What we use your data for

  • Answering your requests and sending you your quote, the audit report or a proposal.
  • Contacting you by email, WhatsApp or phone about the services you're interested in, and booking meetings.
  • Sending you daweb marketing information, only if you authorise it. You can ask us to stop at any time.
  • Measuring which campaigns and channels bring enquiries, to improve our marketing.
  • Protecting the site against abuse and complying with legal obligations.

4. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your data. It is shared only with the providers that help us operate, acting on our behalf and under confidentiality obligations: website hosting (Hostinger), the email we use to receive and answer your requests (Google), blog content (Sanity), the speed test in the audit (Google PageSpeed Insights), our customer management system and Google and Meta measurement tools. Some of these providers process data outside Colombia, which is an international transmission of data carried out with the safeguards the law requires.

5. Your rights

As the data subject you have the right to:

  • Know, update and correct your data.
  • Request proof of the authorisation you gave us.
  • Know how we have used your data.
  • Revoke the authorisation or ask us to delete your data, when there is no legal or contractual duty to keep it.
  • Access your data free of charge.
  • File complaints with Colombia's Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC), after first raising your request with us.

6. How to exercise them

Email hello@daweb.co with the subject "Personal data", stating your name, your email or contact number and your request. We answer enquiries within 10 business days and claims within 15 business days, as the law sets out. If we need more time, we'll tell you before the deadline.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

  • A first-party cookie (daweb_attr) keeps for 90 days how you reached the site, so we know which campaign brought each enquiry.
  • The quote tool keeps your answers in the browser's session storage so you don't lose them if you reload. They are deleted when you close the tab.
  • Google and Meta measurement tools only turn on if you accept them in the cookie notice. You can change your choice at any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the footer.

8. Security and retention

We apply reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. We keep your data as long as it is needed for the purposes of this policy and to meet legal obligations.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll publish the new version on this page with its date. If the change is significant, we'll let you know through the contact details we have.
